POD.DRALAND founder Alexandra Cohl launches Broads in Progress membership for women podcasters, partners with Ausha

QUEENS, New York, November 15, 2022 – Alexandra Cohl, founder of POD.DRALAND and the host of The Pod Broads, launches Broads in Progress, a new, exclusive accountability membership designed for women podcasters to help them grow their podcasts, provide them with tips and insider info, and offer them the support and community that will help them stay accountable.

Alexandra has been supporting women podcasters and helping them get their podcasts heard since she first launched POD.DRALAND in 2019. Now, as a company where she offers PR and marketing services for podcasters (like her clients and summer 2022 hit Father Wants Us Dead which yielded more than 3.5 million downloads in three months), she is bringing her experience-backed knowledge (and past experience as a writing instructor and workshop leader) to women podcasters who are seeking community, accountability support, and guidance.

“I read recently that Julia Boorstin, an author and CNBC’s Senior Media and Tech Correspondent, reports how ‘It was proven that women who have a tight, diverse network of supporters are more successful [in their business] than those who don’t.’ That is what this membership is for – to support each other in creating not just a marketing or PR plan but a growth practice for our podcasts,” Alexandra shares as she reflects on why she created this membership.

“I’ve created the membership with two major things in mind: offering something more affordable to women who can’t afford my one-on-one services but who still want and need something high value, and crafting a membership that encourages accountability while also releasing some of the pressure, loneliness, and tendency toward burn out that many of us podcasters feel.”

According to the American Society of Training and Development, “you’re 65% [more] likely to achieve a goal if you share it with an accountability partner. If you also meet with your partner on a regular basis, your chances of success climb up to 95%.” And, this accountability membership will include:

  • A private Discord channel to connect with other women podcasters and really build a network for cross promotion and support with like-minded and value-aligned women
  • 90-minute virtual accountability sessions (about) every fortnight
  • Weekly messaging Q&A with Alexandra in Discord
  • Resources, curated top articles, and other important tips and insights
  • Recorded quarterly webinar with Alexandra and another industry expert
  • 50% off and priority scheduling for Alexandra’s Pick-My-Brain sessions
  • Discounts on other podcaster related services & events

Broads in Progress also announces a big part of Alexandra’s recent partnership with Ausha, a French podcast hosting site that recently launched in the United States; its members will receive 50% off their first year-long hosting plan on Ausha, which also now hosts Alexandra’s podcast The Pod Broads. Not only that, members will continue to receive other exclusive deals through being a part of the membership, including free access to the Podcasting for Business Conference, happening this week on November 16th through November 18th.

Right now, women podcasters can use the code EARLYBIRDBROAD to get a lifetime 50% off of their membership. This offer lasts until November 30, 2022.
